This week (April 13 through April 18) central banks from seven countries or jurisdictions are scheduled to decide on monetary policy: Singapore, Indonesia, Poland, Canada, euro area, Namibia and Chile.
Following table includes the name of the country, its MSCI classification, the direction of the latest decision, the date the new policy decision will be announced, the current policy rate, and the rate one year ago.
In addition to the scheduled central bank meetings, many policymakers are headed for Washington D.C. this week for the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Group of 20. The meetings start on April 16 and run through April 19.WEEK 16 | |||||
